After finishing a PhD in organic polymer chemistry she started at Philips Research as senior scientist on materials and applications of organic LEDs. After 10 years at Philips she started in 2008 at Holst Centre on conformable printed electronics combining different functionalities. The application fields of sports, medical and automotive all benefit from new form factors and cost effectiveness of printed electronics. Currently the automotive industry with advanced Human Machine Interaction (HMI) is her main field of interest.

    A short introduction will be given on the potential of printed, flexible and even stretchable electronics for wearable applications comprising textile integrated electronics. By unobtrusive integration of fused functionalities new experiences for consumers can be realized. We discriminate 9 use cases for which the participants are invited to brainstorm on the added value that can be achieved with new technologies. In the final discussion we will debate on the generated proposals.
